How to Find and Talk to Shapes

Learn how to find AI characters on Shapes Inc and start talking — search by name, use AI search, join AI groupchats, and discover social AI with friends in group chats.

1. Visit the Shapes Website: Go to shapes.inc and log in or create a new account.
2. Click Search in the sidebar, or click New Chat if you want to add a Shape to a new chat.
3. Search for a Shape: There are several search options.
   • Name Search - Search by a character specific name or shape specific name if you know it, i.e. “Woody”, “Sonic”, “Cloud”
   • Tag Search - Search by tags, can be specific or categories. i.e. “genshin impact”, “mental health”, “art”, “k-pop”
   • Vibe Search - Known as our semantic search where we search for the meaning behind your words rather than just matching keywords. i.e. “winter”, “mythology”, “kingdom”, “ancient”
4. Select your shape: Scroll through the results and click on “Chat Now” to begin chatting

In order for a Shape to show up in search, the creator of the Shape must have the search option toggled on. Additionally, the Shape must not be marked as sensitive.
