Use Branch Off when a group chat goes in a direction you want to continue privately. Branch Off creates a new private chat starting from the message you choose.
It automatically copies up to the last 50 messages, ending with your selected one, so the new chat starts with the right context.

How to use it

  1. Click the three-dot menu next to any message.
  2. Choose “Branch Off.”
  3. A new chat will instantly be created - you’ll be redirected there.
Branch Off is available in chats, but not in direct messages. Return to App
